Summary:
BPV is growing and has a great opportunity for a Maintenance Technician! BPV Environmental is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to work in our manufacturing facility located in Byron Center, MI.
Candidate will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties including routine corrective and preventive maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of plant equipment, and other activities as necessary.
Essential Functions:

Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment, as well as regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facility.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
Conduct routine mechanical testing of plant equipment.
Read and interpret equipment manuals schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Required Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma/GED At least 3 Years Maintenance Experience or Skilled Trades Experience Strong working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, compressors, piping and valves Experience with SMAW, TIG and MIG welding preferred Ability to work at heights and confined spaces Ability to work while wearing a respirator or other breathing equipment Electrical and Controls knowledge a plus Preferred Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Additional Eligibility

This job operates in a plant environment within a manufacturing/warehouse/shipping facility with a controlled climate in the office area, temperatures vary in the plant area.
This position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs.

This is a full-time position, standard days/hours are Monday - Friday, with the flexibility of some early hours, later hours, and weekend work when needed.
